Why it pays to check your equipment

I’ve had this new 3D printer for a few months. It’s great and a good addition to my “farm”. But one thing I was having trouble with was some of my x-axis levels. I added a belt tensioner, something I found on thingaverse, which instantly made the x-axis much tighter and the lines much closer together. It’s a simple fix, and one that can be done quickly and easily, sometimes the belts get loose from usage and operation and you’ll need to make sure they stay right.

Sometimes you just need to inspect your equipment occasionally for adjustments. It pays when it can make a big difference in quality of what you do.

The difference is the “tightness of the lines” of the layers of the 3d print.
